At RYDE Marketplace, we stand behind every part we sell. We understand that sometimes a product might not fit your project or expectations perfectly, and that’s okay. That’s why we’ve created a fair, transparent, and customer-friendly return policy designed to make the process simple and stress-free — while ensuring every customer receives genuine, unused components in top condition.

We value your trust and strive to make your experience positive from start to finish, whether you’re placing a first order or sending something back for a replacement or refund.

Eligibility for Returns

Parts may be returned within 90 days of purchase as long as they are unused, uninstalled, and returned in their original packaging. To protect product integrity and safety, all returned items must include the original manufacturer’s packaging, labels, and any included accessories or documentation.

We kindly ask that you do not write on, tape over, or otherwise alter the manufacturer packaging. This helps ensure smooth processing and allows us to maintain high quality standards for future customers.

Inspection Period for Defects

We recommend inspecting your parts carefully upon delivery. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to check for defects, missing components, or incorrect items. If you discover an issue during that time, please contact our team immediately — we’ll work with you to provide a prompt solution, whether that means an exchange, replacement, or refund.

After 30 days, we will assume that the part was received in good working condition, and any subsequent issues will be considered wear, installation, or usage related. We cannot guarantee returns or replacements beyond that initial inspection window.

Condition Requirements

Returned parts must be unused, undamaged, and in resalable condition. Any item showing signs of installation, modification, use, or damage will not be eligible for return. For your protection, please ensure that all fluids, electrical connectors, or mounting hardware remain untouched and that packaging is secure.

Products returned in any condition other than “like new” may be subject to partial credit or rejection, at the discretion of our inspection team.

Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and retaining your tracking number until the return has been processed and confirmed. RYDE Marketplace is not responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit due to improper packaging or untracked shipments.

For defective or incorrectly shipped items, please contact us before sending the part back — we’ll review the issue and, if applicable, provide return instructions or a pre-paid label when warranted.

Return Authorization Process

Before sending a part back, please reach out to our customer service team to obtain a return authorization (RA) number. This ensures that your package is properly tracked and processed upon arrival. Returns received without prior authorization may experience delays or be refused.

Once your return is approved, you’ll receive step-by-step instructions for safely packaging and shipping your part back to our U.S. return center.

Refunds and Processing Time

Once your return arrives and is inspected, we’ll notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, typically within 3–5 business days after inspection. Refund timing may vary based on your bank or credit card provider.

Ineligible returns will be documented with photos and held for 10 business days in case you wish to have the item shipped back to you at your expense.

Non-Returnable Items

For safety and quality assurance, certain products cannot be returned once opened or installed, including electrical components, sensors, software, and performance-tuned items. Additionally, custom or special-order parts may not be eligible for return unless defective or damaged during shipment.
