Our Commitment to Fair and Transparent Cart Exchanges
At RYDE Marketplace, our goal is to ensure every customer is completely confident and satisfied with their golf cart purchase. We understand that purchasing a golf cart is a meaningful investment — one that represents not only convenience but also lifestyle and enjoyment. To protect our customers and maintain the integrity of our business, we’ve established this Cart Exchange Policy to clearly outline our terms regarding returns, exchanges, and related procedures.
We believe in transparency, honesty, and fairness. Please review the policy carefully before purchasing to understand your rights and responsibilities as a buyer.
No Returns — Sales Are Final
All golf cart sales are considered final. We do not accept returns on golf carts for refunds or cancellations once a sale has been completed. Every golf cart sold by RYDE Marketplace is sold “as is”, and all sales are final at the time of purchase. This policy ensures consistency and transparency across all transactions, whether in-store, online, or via delivery.
Buyer Inspection Responsibility
It is the buyer’s full responsibility to inspect the cosmetic and mechanical condition of the golf cart prior to purchase. Customers are encouraged to review the vehicle in person or request a video walk-through before finalizing the sale. RYDE Marketplace provides reasonable access for inspection but does not offer mechanical evaluations or guarantee the working condition of specific components.
RYDE Marketplace and its staff are not responsible to disclose, guarantee, or warrant the cosmetic or mechanical condition of any golf cart at the time of sale. The buyer accepts full responsibility for the decision to purchase after inspection or acceptance of photos and descriptions provided.
Bill of Sale & Documentation
Every golf cart purchase from RYDE Marketplace includes a signed Bill of Sale listing the vehicle details, serial number, sale price, and “as is” condition at the time of sale. This document serves as legal proof of ownership and protects both the buyer and RYDE Marketplace by confirming the agreed-upon terms.
The Bill of Sale is provided at the time of purchase or delivery. Please store it safely, as it may be required for financing, registration, insurance, or future exchanges.
No Warranties or Guarantees
All golf carts are sold without warranty or guarantee of any kind, either expressed or implied. This includes, but is not limited to, mechanical performance, battery life, cosmetic condition, and suitability for a specific purpose. Each cart is sold “as is.”
Some individual parts or specific cart models may carry a manufacturer’s warranty. If applicable, warranty claims must be made directly through the manufacturer according to their policies. RYDE Marketplace does not administer or process manufacturer warranty claims on behalf of customers.
30-Day Exchange Policy
Although sales are final, RYDE Marketplace offers a 30-day exchange option to help ensure your complete satisfaction. If you are not entirely pleased with your purchase, you may exchange your golf cart for another available unit within 30 days of the original purchase date.
To qualify for an exchange:
- The cart must be returned in the same or comparable condition as when sold.
- The original Bill of Sale and proof of purchase must be presented.
- An appointment is required for all exchanges — walk-ins cannot be accepted due to inspection and scheduling requirements.
Scheduling an Exchange Appointment
To start an exchange, contact our customer service team to schedule an appointment. We’ll review your purchase, confirm eligibility, and discuss available inventory for your replacement. Exchanges are handled by appointment only to ensure personalized service, adequate inspection time, and efficient processing.
Appointments can be scheduled by phone, text, or email. Please do not bring your cart for exchange without prior approval, as our staff may be unavailable for immediate service.
Exchange Value and Payment Differences
If the selected exchange cart is priced higher than your original purchase, the difference in price must be paid in full at the time of exchange. Payment can be made via cash, certified check, or credit card. Financing adjustments will be handled in coordination with your lender.
If the replacement cart is of lesser value, a refund for the difference will be issued via check at the time of exchange. No cash refunds are issued under any circumstance. Delivery, customization, or upgrade fees are non-refundable.
Delivery Fees and Exchange Transportation
Delivery fees are non-refundable. If your golf cart was originally delivered, you are responsible for returning it to RYDE Marketplace for exchange within the 30-day window. Transportation costs or arrangements are the sole responsibility of the buyer.
We recommend scheduling your return delivery or drop-off in advance to ensure our team is ready for inspection and processing.
Condition Standards for Exchange Eligibility
To qualify for an exchange, your golf cart must be returned in the same or equivalent condition as when purchased. Carts showing signs of misuse, damage, collision, or unauthorized modification will not be eligible for exchange.
Upon return, RYDE Marketplace staff will inspect the cart to confirm its condition. This inspection protects both the buyer and the dealership by ensuring fairness and accuracy in all transactions.

Additional Terms and Disclosures
RYDE Marketplace reserves the right to refuse an exchange if the cart shows signs of damage, tampering, or significant use since purchase. Accessories, aftermarket add-ons, and custom modifications are not eligible for credit or refund. Financing customers must remain in good standing on their account during the exchange process.
Mechanical components, batteries, and electrical systems are not guaranteed and may vary in performance depending on usage, age, and maintenance. Buyers should review all details prior to purchase to ensure expectations align with the condition of the cart.
